About Cartersville, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Cartersville is a Bartow County city located in Georgia, and it is home to about 19,700 residents. The city is located 42 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta and about 76 miles southeast of Chattanooga, TN. Services, tourism, and manufacturing play a major role in the economy of the city, and some of the most prominent employers include Anheuser-Busch, Georgia Power, Chemical Products, and Shaw Industries. The Cartersville City School System serves the area, and Georgia Highlands College is also located here.

Cartersville is home to several interesting points of interest. The Booth Western Art Museum is the state’s second largest art museum, primarily housing Western art. Museum enthusiasts might also like to check out the Tellus Science Museum which features the first digital planetarium in the northern portion of the state. The Etowah Indian Mounds is a prominent archaeological site, and the first outdoor Coca-Cola sign is located on the Young Brothers Pharmacy wall in downtown Cartersville.

This region of Georgia is part of a humid subtropical climate zone, so Cartersville residents will experience four distinctive seasons. Precipitation is generous throughout the year, including during the hot and humid summer months. High temperatures often reach the low 90s on average during these months, and even the average lows stay in the 70s. In order to stay comfortable throughout this season, it is crucial that residents take advantage of energy efficient central air conditioning units at home.

The winter months in Cartersville are cool but variable with average high temperatures in January reaching the low-50s. However, there are nearly 50 freezing days each year, and occasionally, temperatures will drop below zero. In order to stay safe throughout the season, residents will need to invest in a reliable heat pump or furnace, which will keep interiors warm while keeping utility costs affordable.
