About Canton, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Canton, Georgia is the county seat of Cherokee County. In a ten year period, this community experienced significant growth – the population grew to nearly 23,000 in 2010 up from only 7,700 in 2000. This city sits to the south of Ball Ground and north of Holly Springs. The Cherokee County School District serves the area, and for higher learning, there is a campus of the Chattahoochee Technical College found here. The most notable resident of Canton was Lost actor Josh Holloway.

There are a variety of attractions and recreational opportunities available in Canton and the surrounding areas. Canton is home to several golf clubs and courses, including Canton Golf Club, Woodmont Golf and Country Club, and the Golf Club At Bridgemill. There are a variety of popular outdoor recreational destinations, including the Etowah River Park, the Blankets Creek Trail System, and the Hickory Log Creek Reservoir. Families might like to check out the animals at Tanglewood Farm Miniatures, while history buffs may prefer a visit to the Georgia National Cemetery.

Canton is part of a humid subtropical zone, so whether you live in the community or are planning a visit, it is important to know what this means in terms of your climate control needs. Compared to other parts of the U.S., temperatures here are relatively mild during the winter, as average highs will reach the low-50s. However, overnight lows can fall below the freezing point, making it vital that you invest in a high-quality furnace or heat pump in order to stay home. These systems won’ t be as important during the summer when conditions become hot and humid, but you will need to have access to a central air conditioning unit in order to stay safe when temperatures rise into the 90s. Servicing your climate control systems annually will ensure that they work properly when they are needed most.
